Boston IVF Expands Fertility Care in Providence with Addition of Katherine Baker, M.D.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Boston IVF, one of the nation’s leading reproductive service providers and a pioneer in IVF research, has expanded its Providence fertility center with the addition of reproductive endocrinologist Katherine “Katie” Baker, M.D.

Board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Baker specializes in in vitro fertilization (IVF), intrauterine insemination (IUI), egg freezing, fertility preservation, LGBTQ+ family building, and the treatment of miscarriage and early pregnancy loss. She is known for her compassionate, science-based approach to patient care and her commitment to individualized treatment.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Baker has contributed to ongoing research focused on fertility preservation and environmental factors affecting fertility. She emphasizes empowering patients through evidence-based medicine and education.

Dr. Baker received her medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine, completed her OB/GYN residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/Harvard Medical School, and pursued her fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at Women & Infants Hospital/Brown University.

She is now accepting new patients at Boston IVF’s Providence fertility center and via secure telehealth consultations for individuals and couples throughout Rhode Island.
