NEW YORK — Demy-Colton’s BioFuture 2025 conference concluded in New York and virtually this week, highlighting renewed confidence in the biotech sector and the technologies shaping the future of healthcare. The event brought together leaders across biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, digital health, and investment to discuss innovation, patient access, and the evolving market environment.

This year’s program featured discussions on the convergence of artificial intelligence, data science, and biology; advances in diagnostics, bioelectronics, and therapeutic discovery; and the changing investment and policy landscape. A new Spotlight Panel format replaced standalone company presentations, offering analytical discussions focused on breakthrough technologies and therapeutic advancements.

“We were very encouraged by the positive tone overall shared by leaders at this year’s conference, and very excited about the many companies that participated in our Spotlight Panels,” said Sara Jane Demy, Founder and CEO of Demy-Colton. “Innovation thrives when leaders across science, technology, investment, and policy come together. This year’s discussions reflected how the biopharma community is adapting to a changing landscape, balancing optimism with urgency as we harness AI, bioengineering, and global collaboration to ensure innovation reaches patients worldwide.”

Optimism for the sector’s future was a recurring theme, even as participants acknowledged ongoing economic and regulatory challenges. In one plenary session examining the resilience of the biopharma industry, panelists noted that scientific progress, new drug launches, and long-term innovation fundamentals remain strong.

BioFuture 2025 also hosted seed-stage companies in a Pitch Doctor session and facilitated hundreds of partnering meetings as well as investor and media discussions. Registered participants can continue to schedule meetings and access recorded content through July 31, 2026.

Demy-Colton will continue these conversations at Biotech Showcase 2026, taking place January 12–14 in San Francisco. The event will gather investors, innovators, and industry leaders for three days of partnering, presentations, and panels focused on driving the next wave of biotechnology innovation.
