BOSTON, Mass. — Etiometry said it delivered measurable clinical and operational outcomes in 2025 as hospitals grappled with staffing shortages, rising care complexity, and cost pressures, while outlining plans to further expand its AI-driven clinical intelligence platform in 2026.
The company, which focuses on artificial intelligence for critical care decision-making, reported significant platform advancements, expanded hospital adoption, multiple regulatory milestones, and industry recognition over the past year. Etiometry said its platform has now informed the care of more than 425,000 patients.
“Hospitals are under historically significant pressure due to staffing shortages, rising care complexity and costs, and it’s more important than ever to find new, effective ways to solve for those challenges, head on,” said Shane Cooke, president and chief executive officer of Etiometry. “One of the ways the Etiometry Platform is doing this is through its continuous collection and display of patient data to support timely clinician assessment and decision-making for critically ill patients under intensive care, including cardiac and respiratory care settings.”
Cooke said the platform has played a role in improving care quality, reducing length of stay and ICU readmissions, lowering costs, easing the burden on care teams, and improving documentation of complications.
During 2025, Etiometry continued to expand its Cardiac Critical Care Solution, which organizes and displays patient data to support clinical decision-making in intensive care environments. The company also received its 10th clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, covering cybersecurity enhancements designed to meet heightened regulatory requirements and protect hospitals and patients from evolving cyber threats.
Etiometry said it further strengthened its platform by deepening the use of high-resolution waveform data alongside existing data streams, including patient monitors, peripheral devices, laboratory results, and medication data. The company said the enhancement provides deeper insight into patient physiology and supports more informed decision-making at the point of care.
The company also received industry recognition in 2025, earning the Digital Health Award for Best in Class – AI in Patient Care at the Digital Health Hub Awards, presented during the HLTH global healthcare conference. The award recognized Etiometry’s use of real-time clinical intelligence to improve patient outcomes and hospital efficiency.
Etiometry said it partnered with leading physicians and health systems to publish a record number of studies in 2025, including five studies conducted with Children’s Hospital of Alabama, Boston Children’s Hospital, Children’s National Hospital, and Washington University School of Medicine. Additional whitepapers and three abstracts focused on adult critical care settings expanded the company’s existing evidence base in pediatric care.
Commercially, Etiometry reported its strongest year of hospital adoption to date, with increased uptake among major adult health systems. The company also expanded its international presence, establishing and growing operations in Europe and the Middle East through new and existing strategic partnerships.
“We’re keeping our foot firmly on the gas heading into 2026,” Cooke said. “We are especially excited about what can be done when we work together to provide collaborative solutions to the marketplace. We believe we can advance innovation and expand accessibility more effectively and at faster paces with the right strategic partnerships and distributor networks.”
