WATERTOWN, Mass. — Konovo said it has expanded its executive leadership team with the appointments of Swathi Kulkarni as managing director for India and Tom Halliday as chief commercial officer, moves the company said will support its international growth and the continued expansion of its technology-driven healthcare intelligence platform.

The company said the appointments come as life sciences organizations face increasing pressure to operate more efficiently while extracting deeper insights from fragmented data. Konovo said the leadership additions will help accelerate the rollout of its AI-native intelligent platform across global markets, strengthening its ability to serve clients in healthcare and life sciences market research.
Kulkarni brings more than 20 years of experience building and scaling health technology businesses. Before joining Konovo, she was chief executive officer and co-founder of Elda Health, a full-stack digital wellness platform. Her prior roles include executive leadership positions at Nua, Inksedge, and Komli Media, as well as serving as head of health management at Aditya Birla Health Insurance. In that role, she led a health platform that integrated real-world data from wearables and lifestyle patterns to support holistic health outcomes.
At Konovo, Kulkarni will lead the company’s India Innovation Hub, overseeing strategy, profit and loss, growth delivery, talent, and culture, while expanding India’s role in the company’s global operations.
Halliday joins Konovo as chief commercial officer with more than two decades of experience across the life sciences ecosystem, including senior roles on both the client and agency sides. Most recently, he served as strategic intelligence general manager at Norstella, where he led the strategy and development of the Strategic Intelligence business unit. His previous roles include chief commercial officer and head of real-world data at Clarivate Life Sciences, as well as multiple global leadership positions in strategic analytics and competitive intelligence at Roche.
As chief commercial officer, Halliday will focus on strengthening Konovo’s senior-level partnerships and expanding relationships across the global life sciences market research ecosystem.
“Swathi and Tom are proven transformation agents whose deep life science technology expertise and relationships will help us introduce innovations to address longstanding market research industry challenges,” said Tal Rosenberg, chief executive officer of Konovo. “With their strategic skills on our leadership team, Konovo can accelerate the expansion of our intelligent platform and help more healthcare and life science organizations worldwide to gain faster, more actionable insights that deliver value throughout their operations.”
