BOSTON, Mass. — Tolion Health AI said it has appointed Gregory J. Moore, MD, PhD, to its board of directors, adding a veteran global health and artificial intelligence executive as the company expands its preventive brain health platform and prepares for broader commercialization.
Moore brings experience as a physician-scientist, neuroradiologist, engineer, and healthcare technology leader, having previously overseen global teams at Microsoft and Google focused on applying AI and data platforms across healthcare and life sciences. Tolion said his appointment strengthens its leadership in product development, regulatory readiness, and global expansion as the company advances its mission to deliver evidence-based, preventive brain health solutions.
“2025 was a transformative year for Tolion, with the U.S. launch of Tolion Brain Coach, successful fundraising, and infrastructure growth in the U.S. and Europe,” said Martin Tolar, MD, PhD, founder and executive chairman of Tolion Health AI. “As we commercialize our flagship product, Greg’s appointment highlights Tolion’s focus on combining clinical expertise with technology to advance preventive brain health. His background as a physician, technologist, and board director will help us refine our strategy, strengthen operations, and support responsible global growth.”
Tolion introduced Tolion Brain Coach on the Apple App Store in November 2025, offering a free AI-powered mobile application designed to help users identify and manage modifiable risk factors associated with cognitive health and performance. The company said the platform integrates with wearable technology and emphasizes lifestyle-based prevention as a key factor in lowering dementia risk.
Looking ahead to 2026, Tolion said it plans to drive user growth, expand interoperability through additional integrations, including Apple Health, launch an Android version of the app, and deepen collaborations with laboratories, health plans, and specialty care providers.
“Tolion is a leading AI-first platform for early prevention in cognitive decline, with a clear focus on translating credible science into practical, achievable actions,” Moore said. “I am excited to join the board and support the team as they scale, ensuring clinical validity, privacy, security, and regulatory readiness to build trust and achieve global impact. Tolion’s approach has the potential to change how people think about brain health and prevention.”
Moore previously served as corporate vice president at Microsoft Health & Life Sciences, where he directed global research and development strategy and product teams focused on healthcare AI and data platforms. Before Microsoft, he was a vice president at Google and founded the Google Cloud Healthcare & Life Sciences division, helping expand the company’s global health and life sciences operations.
He currently serves on the boards of DaVita Inc. and Fortive Corporation and acts as a senior advisor on Alzheimer’s disease initiatives involving AI and data. Moore is board-certified in diagnostic radiology, neuroradiology, and clinical informatics, and has held clinical and academic appointments at Stanford University, Penn State, and Wayne State University. He earned his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine and a PhD in radiological sciences from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Tolion said Moore will help guide the company’s strategy across regulatory compliance, technology and data security, global partnerships, and business development, while keeping its preventive brain health offerings practical, evidence-based, and privacy-conscious. (Source: IANS)
