NEW YORK — RF Investment Partners has partnered with Prairie Capital to provide growth capital supporting the recapitalization of NSG Life Safety and Norel Service Company, together operating as NSG-Norel, a fire, life safety, and security services provider serving New England.
The investment provides flexible capital to support the combined platform’s next phase of growth. NSG-Norel delivers a range of services spanning fire alarm and security system design and integration, along with recurring inspection, monitoring, maintenance, certification, and repair services across healthcare, education, government, industrial, commercial, and residential markets.
Norel, founded in 1973, focuses on recurring fire and life safety services, including mandatory testing, inspection, and certification, as well as system monitoring, repairs, and replacements. NSG, established in 2017, specializes in fire alarm and security system integration, offering in-house engineering, design, and programming capabilities. Together, the businesses operate as a scaled, one-stop provider supporting compliance and mission-critical safety needs.
“RF has been a supportive and flexible partner to Prairie Capital on this recapitalization,” said Jeff Vranek, Principal at Prairie Capital. “Their ability to provide patient, structured capital made them an excellent fit for NSG-Norel. We value RF’s collaborative approach and look forward to working together as we support the management team in the company’s next phase of growth.”
Headquartered in Massachusetts, NSG-Norel is expected to use the new investment to continue investing in personnel, technology, expanded service offerings, and geographic growth.
“This investment reflects RF’s collaborative partnership with Prairie Capital and our shared focus on supporting high-quality businesses,” said RF Managing Director Patrick Riggio. “NSG-Norel operates in a mission-critical sector with strong fundamentals, and we are excited to work alongside Prairie and the company’s leadership team to support continued growth and long-term value creation.”
