CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — Cellino, a regenerative medicine company focused on developing autonomous manufacturing systems for personalized cell therapies, has been named to Fast Company’s annual list of the World’s Most Innovative Companies of 2026.
The list highlights businesses that are driving change across industries through innovation. This year, Fast Company recognized 720 organizations across 59 sectors and regions, alongside its ranking of the world’s 50 most innovative companies.
“Cellino is built on the convergence of AI, biology, and physics to transform how living medicines are delivered at scale,” said Nabiha Saklayen, Ph.D., CEO and Co-Founder of Cellino. “Our closed-loop, AI-driven platform combines machine learning, laser processing, and stem cell biology to produce patient-derived cells with precision and consistency that manual processes cannot match. By learning and optimizing in real time, we enable the reliable, scalable manufacturing of personalized cell therapies.”
Cellino has been advancing a fully integrated, closed-loop platform designed to support scalable, high-quality production of patient-specific induced pluripotent stem cells. The company’s system combines AI-driven imaging, precision laser editing, and automated bioprocessing to shift manufacturing away from labor-intensive manual workflows toward a more autonomous, software-defined approach.
The company said this model could significantly reduce costs, improve consistency, and expand access to regenerative therapies.
Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies list is one of the publication’s flagship editorial efforts, recognizing organizations that are shaping the future of their industries. Editors and writers evaluate thousands of submissions from around the world, selecting companies based on their impact, creativity, and ability to drive meaningful progress.
“Our list of the Most Innovative Companies is about spotlighting organizations that don’t just adapt to change—they drive it,” said Brendan Vaughan, editor-in-chief of Fast Company. “The companies we honor this year are redefining what leadership looks like in 2026, pairing bold ideas with measurable impact and turning breakthrough innovation into real-world value. They are setting the pace for their industries and offering a blueprint for what sustained innovation can achieve.”
