Santa Clara, Calif. & New York — Medical technology firm HeartBeam, Inc. (NASDAQ: BEAT) and ECG diagnostics innovator AccurKardia have announced a strategic collaboration aimed at advancing cardiac monitoring solutions. The partnership will integrate AccurKardia’s FDA-cleared ECG analysis software, AccurECG™, with HeartBeam’s portable ECG devices, enhancing access to advanced cardiac monitoring outside traditional healthcare settings.

The collaboration brings together two leaders in ambulatory electrocardiogram (ECG) recording and analysis. Initially, the focus will be on incorporating AccurKardia’s automated ECG interpretation technology into HeartBeam’s innovative device—a credit card-sized, cable-free 3D ECG monitor designed to capture the heart’s electrical signals from three non-coplanar directions. This data is then synthesized into a 12-lead ECG using HeartBeam’s proprietary software, which is currently awaiting FDA clearance.

“This collaboration is a major step forward in delivering a more accessible and scalable solution for remote cardiac monitoring,” said Robert Eno, CEO of HeartBeam. “AccurKardia shares our mission of improving cardiac outcomes through technological innovation, and together we can accelerate the delivery of unprecedented cardiac insights to individuals and physicians outside of a medical facility.”

The integration of AccurECG’s device-agnostic, automated rhythm assessment with HeartBeam’s compact device aims to streamline arrhythmia detection, providing faster diagnoses and enabling quicker access to clinical care. This capability is expected to be a cornerstone of HeartBeam’s commercial offering once regulatory approvals are in place, particularly for arrhythmia assessment.

Juan C. Jimenez, Co-Founder and CEO of AccurKardia, emphasized the potential impact of the collaboration. “Combining AccurKardia’s FDA-cleared automated ECG analytics with HeartBeam’s novel credit card-sized device will be a true game-changer, empowering patients to take charge of their cardiac health, wherever they are,” Jimenez said. “By uniting our strengths, we’re creating a best-in-class platform that transforms how cardiac arrhythmia conditions are monitored and detected. This partnership helps address the growing gap in access to cardiology specialists across the United States.”

The collaboration is expected to expedite HeartBeam’s product development, reducing both costs and timelines, while offering scalable solutions for remote cardiac monitoring. Together, the companies aim to make clinical-grade ECG insights more accessible, offering patients and physicians a powerful tool to manage cardiac health beyond hospital walls.
