Metairie, La. — RestorixHealth, a leading provider of wound care solutions across the United States, has announced the appointment of Ben Dunford, MBA, as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Melinda Estep, MBA, as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The leadership changes mark a new chapter for the company as it positions itself for growth and expansion in the wound care sector.
Dunford brings a broad range of experience in healthcare leadership to his role at RestorixHealth. His career includes C-suite positions across several healthcare organizations, including CFO at Texas Regional Medical Center at Sunnyvale, COO at NorthStar Anesthesia, President of Rural Physicians Group, and most recently, CEO of Diversified Radiology. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from Brigham Young University and an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Dunford’s early professional background includes roles at Bain & Company and Goldman Sachs.
Reflecting on his early tenure at RestorixHealth, Dunford highlighted the company’s mission as a driving force behind its operations. “One key takeaway from my time at RestorixHealth so far is the centrality of our mission: to restore health and improve the quality of life—and access to care—for patients with wounds,” he said. “This mission is critically important, and the work we do daily to help patients heal is truly world-class. Joining Dunford in the leadership team is Melinda Estep, who steps into the CFO role with more than 25 years of experience in finance, healthcare operations, and business development. Estep has held executive leadership roles at a number of healthcare organizations, including Associate CFO, Associate COO, and Chief of Business Development at Denver Health Medical Center, as well as Principal and Managing Director of Delivery Systems at Health Management Associates. Most recently, she served as CFO of John Muir Health. Estep holds both a Bachelor of Science in Finance and an MBA in Healthcare Administration from the University of Colorado. She is also a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and a fellow with America’s Essential Hospitals and the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
