BOSTON — CareAcademy, a leading provider of training and compliance technology for caregivers, has announced the launch of a new product suite aimed at addressing the nationwide shortage of direct care workers. The platform, called CareSync by CareAcademy, is set to debut this summer and promises to streamline caregiver recruitment, reduce onboarding time, and connect employers with a network of ready-to-work candidates.

The new initiative rethinks how direct care workers enter and progress within the post-acute care industry. Designed for both employers and caregivers, CareSync aims to simplify the hiring process, reduce redundant training, and make it easier for experienced caregivers to move between jobs.

The first component of the platform, Shared Training History, will be integrated directly into the existing CareAcademy Training Platform and is expected to go live in early July 2025. This feature will allow employers to instantly access and apply a caregiver’s previous training records, significantly reducing the time and cost associated with onboarding.

“For too long, onboarding inefficiencies and record silos have kept capable caregivers on the sidelines,” said Helen Adeosun, CEO and founder of CareAcademy. “CareSync by CareAcademy brings us closer to a future where entering the caregiving field is more accessible, and finding work is as intuitive as using LinkedIn.”

By consolidating recruitment, credential verification, and onboarding into a single platform, CareAcademy hopes to build a more connected and credentialed workforce. The technology is designed to open up new job opportunities for caregivers and help employers close staffing gaps with greater efficiency.

The company’s broader goal is to transform the direct care labor market by unlocking access to a diverse and skilled talent pool while creating a more seamless, scalable hiring process for healthcare organizations nationwide.
