HOLLISTON, Mass. — Oligo Factory has launched a new low-scale oligonucleotide synthesis capability aimed at supporting researchers and developers working in therapeutics, diagnostics, and life sciences. This addition allows the company to offer high-quality custom DNA and RNA oligos at smaller volumes, supporting a broader range of applications, including early-stage discovery, preclinical studies, and molecular diagnostics.

The new offering enables scientists to order as little as 50 nanomoles of material, while maintaining the same quality and turnaround standards that have defined Oligo Factory’s larger-scale services. According to the company, the move is designed to provide greater flexibility during early research phases and to help clients accelerate their development timelines with less waste and lower costs.

As part of a broader strategic shift, Oligo Factory has also introduced three distinct product portfolios: FactorTx™ for therapeutics, FactorDx™ for diagnostics, and FactorLS™ for life science research. These portfolios reflect a more market-driven approach, delivering oligo solutions tailored to the unique needs of each sector. The company’s products meet a range of quality and regulatory standards, including ISO 13485 for diagnostics and ICH Q7 for pharmaceutical applications.

To support this commercial expansion, Oligo Factory has appointed Dr. Luke Dannenberg as Chief Executive Officer and Baiju Parikh as Vice President of Commercial. Dannenberg brings over 18 years of experience in diagnostics, biotechnology, and life sciences, with past roles at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Foundation Medicine, and Roche Diagnostics. Parikh adds more than two decades of expertise in molecular diagnostics and precision medicine, with leadership experience at IBM Watson for Genomics, GenomOncology, and Roche.

The company’s newly expanded facility in Holliston, Massachusetts has increased synthesis capacity twelvefold and enhanced its purification and lyophilization operations tenfold. These upgrades aim to support growing demand and ensure consistent product quality for a variety of applications, from therapeutic development to regulated diagnostic kits.

Oligo Factory will showcase its expanded capabilities at TIDES USA, a major industry conference taking place May 19–22 in San Diego.
