BOSTON — VectorY Therapeutics, a biotech company focused on developing vectorized antibody therapies for neurodegenerative diseases, has appointed Jessica Atkinson as Chief Business Officer. In this newly created role, Atkinson will work alongside CEO Jim Scibetta and the leadership team to shape long-term business strategies and drive key strategic partnerships to accelerate the company’s growth and advance its therapeutic pipeline.

Atkinson brings more than 20 years of experience in business development and commercialization across both established biopharma companies and early-stage biotech ventures. She has held senior leadership roles at ImmuneID, Glympse Bio, and Foundation Medicine, where she was instrumental in forming strategic alliances and guiding corporate development. She also spent seven years in Merck & Co.’s U.S. commercial division and more recently served as a strategic advisor and fractional CBO to multiple early-stage biotech firms through her consulting company, TwoStep Advisors.

“Jessica’s proven expertise in shaping strategy and driving successful transactions across all stages of drug development will be invaluable as we advance our pipeline and pursue new opportunities,” said Scibetta. “Her collaborative approach and strategic vision make her an ideal addition to our leadership team.”

Atkinson expressed enthusiasm for joining VectorY at a pivotal time in its development. “VectorY’s pioneering approach to developing vectorized antibody therapeutics holds immense promise for patients with neurodegenerative diseases,” she said. “I look forward to working closely with the management and research teams to refine our corporate strategy and forge transformative partnerships that align with the company’s mission and long-term goals.”

Atkinson holds a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology from the University of Texas at Austin. Beyond her executive career, she actively supports initiatives encouraging women in science and volunteers with the Peer Mentoring program at Massachusetts General Cancer Center, helping connect patients and families with experienced peers.
