BOSTON — Dr. Nabiha Saklayen, CEO and co-founder of Cellino, has been named the 2025 Entrepreneur Of The Year® New England Award winner by Ernst & Young LLP (EY US). The honor, announced during a ceremony in Boston on June 11, recognizes her pioneering leadership in the field of regenerative medicine and her company’s innovative approach to stem cell manufacturing.

Now in its 40th year, the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year program honors bold business leaders who are redefining their industries. Dr. Saklayen was selected by an independent panel of judges for her scientific vision, technological ingenuity, and impact on the future of personalized medicine. At Cellino, she leads efforts to automate the production of induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs), using artificial intelligence and laser-based technology to make scalable and affordable therapies a reality.

“This award is a reflection of the groundbreaking work our team at Cellino is doing to shape the future of medicine,” Dr. Saklayen said. “I’m honored to be recognized alongside so many inspiring entrepreneurs who are driving real change.”

Founded to address the challenges of cost and scalability in cell therapy, Cellino is developing the first autonomous facility for iPSC manufacturing—an effort poised to transform access to regenerative treatments.

As a regional winner, Dr. Saklayen will advance to the national Entrepreneur Of The Year Awards, which will be announced in November at the Strategic Growth Forum®, one of the country’s premier gatherings of high-growth companies and leaders.

Winners of the Entrepreneur Of The Year award become part of a global network of past honorees, joining a legacy of innovators who have shaped industries and communities around the world.
