Boston– Executive search firm Calibre One has announced the appointment of Jed Donnelly as a Partner, further strengthening its healthcare practice amid rapid growth in the life sciences and biopharmaceutical sectors. Donnelly will be based in Boston, a key hub for the industry.
Bringing more than two decades of experience in retained executive search, Donnelly has worked across a broad spectrum of clients — from venture-backed biotech startups to publicly traded life sciences companies. His expertise spans therapeutics, diagnostics, medical devices, contract services, and investment firms, with a track record of placing top leadership talent including board directors, C-suite executives, and senior medical and operational leaders.

Before joining Calibre One, Donnelly was a founding partner at a boutique executive search firm dedicated to life sciences, where he led numerous high-impact searches over more than a decade. Earlier in his career, he served as Vice President of Research at a national search firm, supporting over 350 executive placements and developing a data-driven recruitment strategy.
Donnelly holds a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and a B.A. in Biology from Colby College. He is admitted to the Massachusetts Bar and currently serves as President of the Board for Special Surfers, a nonprofit that provides surfing experiences for individuals with special needs. He lives in the Boston area with his wife and two children.
