GREENBRAE, Calif.– MarinHealth announced the naming of the Bruce Braden Progressive & Metabolic Care Unit at MarinHealth Medical Center in recognition of a transformational gift from philanthropist and longtime supporter Bruce Braden.
Braden has been a key partner in advancing diabetes and metabolic care at MarinHealth since co-founding the Braden Diabetes Center in 2013. His latest gift supports expanded access to specialized care for patients facing advanced diabetes complications and other complex metabolic conditions.
“We are profoundly grateful to Bruce Braden for his unwavering support and extraordinary generosity,” said Dr. David G. Klein, CEO of MarinHealth. “His investment in our mission has helped us bring state-of-the-art metabolic care to our community, ensuring that patients receive the specialized, compassionate care they deserve – close to home.”
The newly named unit combines expert clinical teams, advanced monitoring technologies, and an interdisciplinary approach to improve outcomes and quality of life for patients.
“It’s an honor to support the MarinHealth team and help ensure that all families in our region have access to outstanding metabolic care,” Braden said. “I’m proud to continue partnering with an organization that shares my commitment to improving lives through innovation, compassion, and clinical excellence.”
Braden’s philanthropic contributions, MarinHealth noted, have helped the system expand beyond treating chronic illness to providing patient education, empowerment, and long-term support. “Bruce’s name will forever be linked with advancing care, hope, and healing for generations to come,” Klein added.
The new unit’s name will appear on signage, materials, and digital platforms in the coming weeks. (Source: IANS)
