WESTBOROUGH, Mass. — eClinicalWorks, a cloud-based electronic health record (EHR) provider, announced that South Lake Pediatrics in Minnesota has adopted Sunoh.ai, its AI-powered medical scribe, to reduce documentation time and improve patient care.

The 36-provider practice, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary, reported that the technology has streamlined workflows, allowing doctors to spend more time with patients.

“Sunoh.ai has significantly reduced the time our providers spend on documentation, allowing for more quality time with patients,” said Alyssa Pearson, EMR analyst at South Lake Pediatrics. “It’s helped lessen the need to chart during their lunch hour or stay late finishing notes. With Sunoh.ai, providers can spend more time focusing on what truly matters—patient care. Several have reported saving over an hour daily on documentation, a testament to Sunoh.ai’s efficiency. The integration with eClinicalWorks was seamless, and it’s exciting to see the positive impact on our workflow and patient experience.”

South Lake Pediatrics serves more than 31,000 patients annually across four locations, providing comprehensive care with an emphasis on wellness and prevention. Before integrating Sunoh.ai, most documentation was completed manually, though some providers used third-party solutions. The ability of Sunoh.ai to capture histories and other clinical details with minimal editing has encouraged broad adoption across the practice.

“We are excited to collaborate with South Lake Pediatrics as they utilize Sunoh.ai to elevate their clinical documentation practices,” said Girish Navani, CEO and co-founder of eClinicalWorks. “This partnership streamlines processes, reduces providers’ burden, and also exemplifies our dedication to advancing healthcare delivery and patient outcomes through the strategic application of innovative AI-powered solutions. We look forward to witnessing the positive changes this will bring to both providers and patients.”

eClinicalWorks said more than 80,000 providers nationwide are using Sunoh.ai. At South Lake Pediatrics, leaders plan to expand their use of technology with tools such as healow CHECK-IN and PRISMA AI, continuing efforts to improve patient care and efficiency.
