Butterfly Network Names Victor Ku Chief Technology Officer

BURLINGTON, Mass.– Butterfly Network, Inc. (NYSE: BFLY), a digital health company advancing care through portable, semiconductor-based ultrasound technology and intuitive software, announced the appointment of Victor Ku as Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer. He will join the company in late September and lead Butterfly’s global technology strategy, product development, and innovation roadmap.

Ku brings more than two decades of leadership experience across regulated, industrial, and high-tech sectors. He has built and scaled engineering organizations across the U.S., Europe, and Asia, delivering imaging systems that integrate embedded IoT, AI analytics, and complex sensor technologies.

Most recently, he served as Vice President of R&D, Engineering, and PMO at Headwall Photonics, where he oversaw development of hyperspectral imaging products for remote sensing, machine vision, and precision agriculture. He previously held senior roles at Teledyne FLIR and EFI, directing global teams that delivered integrated hardware-software platforms in demanding commercial and regulated markets. Ku earned his Ph.D. in Engineering Science and Electrical Engineering from Oxford University and holds an Executive Certificate in Managing Product Platforms from MIT.
