South Shore Health Partners with NRC Health to Strengthen Patient and Employee Experience Strategy

LINCOLN, Neb.– NRC Health has entered into a strategic partnership with South Shore Health, Southeastern Massachusetts’ largest independent health system, to advance patient and employee experience through human-centered technology and insights.

South Shore Health, which operates the flagship South Shore Hospital in Weymouth, sought a partner to help it sharpen its competitive edge in the Greater Boston healthcare market. NRC Health’s integrated patient experience (PX) and employee experience (EX) platform was chosen for its ability to provide a comprehensive view of care quality, workforce engagement, and community trust.

The move comes at a high point for South Shore Hospital, which was recently named one of the Top 10 Best Hospitals in the Boston Metro area by U.S. News & World Report in its 2025–2026 rankings. The hospital also earned “High Performing” ratings in Urology and 10 conditions and procedures, including heart failure, stroke, and orthopedic care — bolstering its reputation in an increasingly competitive regional market.

NRC Health CEO Trent Green said the collaboration highlights how health systems are turning to data-driven solutions to differentiate themselves. “We’re excited to welcome South Shore Health as a partner,” Green said. “This collaboration underscores the growing impact of our solutions in helping health systems innovate and enhance the patient and employee experience.”

The partnership also comes as NRC Health itself builds momentum, following its 2025 Best in KLAS Award for Healthcare Experience Management. The recognition validated its position as a leader in applying advanced technology, research, and human-centered design to improve healthcare outcomes.
