BOSTON — Clairity, Inc., a company pioneering AI-powered risk prediction in human health, announced that its founder, Dr. Connie Lehman, has been named to the Forbes “50 Over 50: Innovation” list. The annual ranking recognizes women who are redefining industries and developing transformative solutions to global challenges. Dr. Lehman will be honored at the Forbes & Mika Brzezinski 50 Over 50 Celebration on November 4, 2025, in New York City.
Breast cancer remains the most common cancer among women worldwide, and most women diagnosed have no family history of the disease. Clairity’s mission is to shift the focus of breast cancer care from late-stage treatment to proactive prevention through early and accurate risk assessment. The company’s flagship product, CLAIRITY BREAST, applies AI directly to a woman’s routine mammogram to provide individualized risk information that is more precise and equitable than traditional models. This technology enables clinicians to recommend personalized screening and prevention strategies to ensure every woman receives the right care at the right time.
Founded in 2020, Clairity achieved a major milestone earlier this year when the U.S. Food and Drug Administration granted De Novo authorization to CLAIRITY BREAST, making it the first FDA-authorized platform to predict five-year breast cancer risk using a standard screening mammogram.
“This honor reflects the collective effort of scientists, clinicians, and innovators applying AI to serve humanity — and, in this case, to confront the global challenge of breast cancer,” said Dr. Lehman. “Traditional risk models have been limited by the data and populations on which they were built. With CLAIRITY BREAST, we’re ensuring every woman, regardless of race or ethnicity, can receive risk information that is both accurate and equitable. Bringing this technology into healthcare systems this year is a critical step toward truly personalized and preventive care.”
An internationally recognized leader in breast imaging and cancer risk assessment, Dr. Lehman has authored more than 300 peer-reviewed publications spanning computer-aided diagnosis, deep learning, risk modeling, and innovations in breast cancer screening. She is Professor of Radiology at Harvard Medical School and a Breast Imaging Specialist at Mass General Brigham.
