BOSTON, Mass. — Sempresto, Inc., a medical device company developing smartphone-integrated rescue drug delivery systems, has acquired all patents and related physical and digital assets from inventor Steven A. Friedman. His innovations, which center on new mechanisms and enhanced safety features for mobile device-integrated autoinjectors, will serve as core components for Sempresto’s next generation of drug delivery platforms. The acquisition expands the company’s intellectual property portfolio in cellphone-mounted and connected drug delivery technologies.
