PHILADELPHIA, Pa. — Tulio Health Technologies has formed a strategic partnership with Fasten Health to strengthen patient-controlled access to medical records through the integration of Fasten Health’s interoperability tools into Tulio’s CareCapture platform.
Fasten Health’s Fasten Connect API provides secure, patient-authorized access to clinical and claims data from more than 50,000 U.S. healthcare organizations across all major electronic health record systems. By embedding this technology, Tulio aims to streamline how patients and caregivers gather medical information that is often dispersed across multiple providers and portals.
With the new integration, patients will be able to combine their history from participating health systems into a single interface, removing longstanding barriers such as navigating separate portals or waiting for manual transfers of records. Tulio said users will maintain complete control over what data is shared, when it is shared and with whom, relying on secure authorization mechanisms to manage access.
The agreement positions CareCapture as an EHR-agnostic tool designed to help patients view, understand and share their medical information regardless of where they receive care. Tulio said the partnership will allow the platform to serve as a connective layer that simplifies navigation of a fragmented healthcare environment for both patients and caregivers.
“Partnering with Fasten Health strengthens our mission to improve care clarity, patient engagement, and trust,” said Dr. Will Strimel, president of Tulio Health Technologies. “By giving patients the ability to unify their healthcare records within CareCapture, we help them make sense of their care, stay informed between visits, and share accurate information with the people who support them.”
Tulio described the collaboration as part of a broader strategy to reduce fragmentation in care coordination, support caregivers and build a privacy-focused engagement platform for health systems, accountable care organizations, senior-care providers and patients across the country.
