IRVING, Texas — Vizient announced that its president and chief executive officer, Byron Jobe, has been named to Modern Healthcare’s 2025 list of the 100 Most Influential People in Healthcare. The annual ranking, published in the December issue of Modern Healthcare magazine, recognizes leaders whose work has shaped the direction of the industry. Profiles of all honorees are available on ModernHealthcare.com/100MostInfluential.
Modern Healthcare editor-in-chief Mary Ellen Podmolik said the list highlights executives who are driving meaningful advancements across the healthcare system. “Influence can be exerted in many ways but regardless of whether it is used to internally shape organizations, the healthcare industry as a whole or both, playing a positive role benefits patients and the professionals responsible for their health,” she said. “Our ranked list of the 100 Most Influential People in Healthcare highlights the executives in all corners of the industry who are striving to advance medicine and how care is delivered — and succeeding in doing so.”
Jobe said the recognition reflects the efforts of Vizient’s members and teams nationwide. “This recognition is really about the impact our clients are making in their communities and the work Vizient teams do to support them every day,” he said. “Together, we are helping hospitals and health systems strengthen their financial footing, improve quality and safety, and tackle access and capacity challenges with stronger data and clearer insight. I’m proud of the way Vizient partners with organizations across the country to deliver more affordable, high-value care and make healthcare better for the patients and communities we all serve.”
