BOSTON — VideaHealth said it has launched AutoVerify, an artificial intelligence-driven revenue cycle management solution designed to automate insurance eligibility and benefits verification ahead of dental appointments, a workflow the company says is among the most time-consuming in dentistry.

The company said AutoVerify connects to more than 350 insurance payers and confirms patient coverage before each visit, helping dental practices reduce claim denials, prevent billing surprises, and provide more accurate out-of-pocket cost estimates prior to treatment. VideaHealth said the new product can save practices up to 40 hours per week and reduce claim denials by as much as 50 percent.

AutoVerify integrates with the broader VideaAI platform and practice management systems, allowing front desk staff to verify insurance eligibility and review benefits information in real time. The company said the solution standardizes plan details into a consistent, easy-to-read format and delivers eligibility data directly into the practice management system for staff review.

“Eligibility verification remains fragmented across dentistry, and the inconsistency creates real downstream cost,” said Florian Hillen, chief executive officer and founder of VideaHealth. “AutoVerify helps practices protect revenue at the source by catching eligibility issues before treatment, saving staff time, improving collections, and giving staff the information they need to have clearer financial conversations that build trust between providers and patients.”

VideaHealth said early feedback and benchmarking from practices using AutoVerify show the potential for improved operational and financial performance. The company reported that early users have seen eligibility and benefits data accuracy exceeding 95 percent through direct integrations with more than 350 payers, up to 40 hours saved per practice each week by automating verification workflows, and reimbursement timelines accelerated by as much as 40 percent by identifying errors earlier in the process. Practices have also reported reductions in claim denials of up to 50 percent and higher case acceptance rates driven by clearer benefits explanations.

Insurance eligibility verification is often handled through a patchwork of phone calls, payer portals, and spreadsheets, a process that can still result in denials and last-minute coverage issues. VideaHealth said AutoVerify replaces those manual tasks with a workflow that takes less than a minute per patient and can scale across multi-location practices.

“Our front desk spends a lot of time managing insurance, and anything that reduces manual work and helps us walk into appointments with clearer information is a big win,” said Trish Ghaboussi, owner of Madison Smile Solutions. “I’m optimistic this will mean fewer surprises for both our team and our patients.”

Practices using the technology said the benefits extend beyond administrative efficiency to the overall patient experience.

“We’re intentional about using technology that elevates the patient journey,” said Robert Raimondi, D.M.D., founder of One Manhattan Dental. “AutoVerify automates eligibility verification before appointments, creating clarity behind the scenes and a smoother, more refined experience for patients.”
