SAN FRANCISCO– Hinge Health, the leading digital clinic for joint and muscle care, today announced the appointment of Deborah Conrad as the company’s first chief marketing officer. Conrad will be responsible for driving the company’s brand, expanding Hinge Health’s reach in new and existing markets, and building engaging customer and partner experiences. Conrad brings more than three decades of marketing leadership experience to Hinge Health, including extensive experience across technology, healthcare, and consumer products. She spent 28 years at Intel, last serving as chief marketing officer.

“Deborah is an exceptional marketer and leader with a history of building world-class marketing organizations,” said Jim Pursley, president, Hinge Health. “She joins the company at a time of tremendous growth and momentum, and her expertise will help us scale our business for greater impact as we enter this next exciting phase of our journey.”

Conrad’s appointment follows a record-breaking year for Hinge Health and the unveiling of the company’s new brand. This past year, Hinge Health surpassed 1,000 enterprise customers, a milestone reached after the company added more clients in 12 months than it had in the last seven years combined. The company is also leading a fundamental shift in healthcare delivery with the recently launched House Calls, a hybrid care offering, and dedicated pelvic health care through its Women’s Pelvic Health program.

“It’s an honor to have the opportunity to work with all of the world-class physical therapists, health coaches, and physicians, technology leaders and business innovators at Hinge Health,” said Conrad. “The company’s new brand line, Every Body Moving, is aspirational and encouraging, conveying our purpose and members’ goals. I’m inspired by Hinge Health’s continuous innovation and determination to provide better care and outcomes for the millions of people facing chronic pain and other often debilitating musculoskeletal conditions.”

Conrad’s tenure at Intel covered a wide range of global marketing and business development roles, of increasing responsibility, culminating as the company’s longest-running CMO. For the past several years, she has dedicated her time to working with early- and late-stage startups, with a focus on those at the intersection of healthcare and technology innovation. Conrad served as CMO for Grand Rounds Health, now Included Health, an integrated virtual care and navigation platform; interim CMO for NovaSignal, a medical device and brain health company; and CMO for Vori Health, a national musculoskeletal medical practice.
